Cunderdin Ag College is portion of a triumphant rural community with all the benefits of being only two hours from the city. Since 1959 the College has offered excellent education and training for Year 11 and 12 students, providing opportunities for young people to develop knowledge, skills and values for a future in the rural industries or on the land. Whether ambitious to tertiary entrance or gaining employment, our students have access to cutting edge technology and beginning class industry research to complement all areas of study. But it’s not all hard Hakka at Cunderdin Ag. As much as we like to see those excellent awards and achievements, we believe that the development of our students is more than just achieving top grades. With a major part of our population being residential, and with laborious and enthusiastic staff, we have extremely energetic social and sporting interests, and students make the most of our well equipped pastime center and sporting facilities. The College is capable to produce the ideal blend of practical and academic depending on the career paths or coming studies the student may want to choose whether it is university entrance, apprenticeship or further employment. To provide quality education and training for the agricultural and related industries that satisfies the needs and expectations of post compulsory students for careers and further education. To be recognized as a leading provider of high quality education and training for the agricultural and related industries, graduating students who have the necessary attributes to become prosperous citizens and contribute positively to Australian society and, in particular, to rural communities. To ensure all students thrive the knowledge, skills and confidence to accomplish their individual potential and contribute to society. To produce opportunities for students to thrive knowledge, skills, values and understandings within the context of rural industries. To produce opportunities for students to attain nationally recognized vocational qualifications and lesser graduation (WA Certificate of Education). To provide opportunities that aid students to access employment or further education. All members of the College Community encourage the values of Learning, Excellence, Equity and Care. Our graduates attain both academic excellence and suitable practical and trade experience, preparing them well for the genuine world. The College is a Registered Training organization (PTO) and as a result of our industry partnerships, students have access to cutting edge technology and first class industry research to complement all areas of study. We trust that the development of our students is more than just achieving top grades and our residential program allows all students access to sporting, social and travel opportunities, encouraging the growth of all aspects of the individual. Maximum of the existing buildings were constructed in the 1970s, including the three main dormitories, Dining Room and LibraryClassroom block. A further 445 hectares adjoining the College was purchased by the College in 1996. The building also has a weights area, conference room, computer laboratory and a canteencaf area. The College is registered to deliver a range of Glossy II cafe qualifications from five industry areas. A ministerially appointed Farm Advisory Group comprising local farmers and agricultural industry representatives face on a routine basis throughout the year to liaise with the Farm Manager on operational matters. This group provides excellent advice to the College. The Board includes three years 11 and three years 12 parent representatives, a range of College department representatives and is presided over by an elected Chairperson.

A further 445 hectares adjoining the College was purchased by the College in 1996. Also completed in the equivalent month was the extensive Student Pastime center. The building also has a weights area, conference room, computer laboratory and a canteencaf area. The College is registered to deliver a range of Smooth II cafe qualifications from five industry areas. In 2012, with the assistance of a 4 million government grant, the College is upgrading its farming facilities to remain to provide a world class agricultural learning program for students.
